I know that a lot of people have said their Kaplan diagnostic and CAT scores are much lower than their real gmat scores or scores on other test prep CAT's. I was just wondering if you're finding your score lower for verbal, math, or both. In my case it's verbal. I'm finding the wording and questions in verbal a little strange. Am i wrong or is KAPLAN CAT's an accurate picture of my verbal abilities? Thanks for your input.

The Kaplan GMAT tests have a reputation of skewing down raw scores across the board, so take them with a grain of salt. GMAT Prep is considered the most accurate indicator of your actual GMAT performance--consider taking one of these tests to get a decent benchmark of your progress.

| Kaplan's verbal questions are particularly bad, so yes, they're even worse for verbal than they are for quant. Their quant questions are actually good practice, but verbal.........NOT! |
