Hi Stacy,

Thank you for your help here, its great

I have a question related to GMAT:

i got 720 (50,35), as you can see, i have a strong quant score and a medium verbal score. i dont live in the u.s.a/england and english is not my mother tounge.

will my verbal score be a problem when applying to 1-15 ranked schools?
do you i need to 'compensate' for it with a good tofel score?

other than GMAT, i have 5+ work experience and experience as a commander in the army and in leading small groups 3-5 people at work

Thanks

50 and 35 usually translates to a 710. I don't think a 35 is all that bad to warrant exclusion from a top school.

I would not be concerned with your score. A 710 is very good. Hopefully the TOEFL will not be a problem for you. Also, the AWA, your interviews, recs and essays can also be evidence of strong written and oral communication skills.
