best Book for CR ?

by smar83 » Wed Jan 02, 2008 1:41 pm
Folks,

I am planning to give my GMAT in March. I already have OG11 and ManhattanGMAT SC.

I think, I am very weak in CR. I was wondering, what would be the best book to learn CR ( assuming I am pretty weak in it).

Thanks.

I have heard good things about the MGMAT CR book. Unfortunately, there aren't many great resources for CR specifically on the market.

If all else fails, participating in these forums is a great way to learn. :)

Thanks Eric. I would defn look up for the resources on this website. And also, I have made this website a homepage on my laptop. LOL!

From now on, it's just Mission GMAT !!! The success stories have motivated me to a greater extent.

Strategy, resources & practice seems to be the key. :)

Thanks again.

Hi smar83,
I found some LSAT material to be extremely helpful in preparing for my CR. Particularly, the LSAT Superprep book had a good overview of the strategies for CR questions and also an additional 100-150 CR Questions, that, on average, where tougher than GMAT CR questions. Good Luck!

Kaplan has some good material and good practice questions for CR.... But its not worth buying the book just for CR.. check out your local library !
