Hi folks,
I took my GMAT yesterday and scored 680:44Q, and 39V. I realized that I was getting a low score on Q, when in the last 10min, I had to solve 10 problems. Verbal saved me here. On average, during practice, I was getting Q45-48 and V41-43, so it's in the ballpart, but a tad short of my own expectations.
However, here is my profile-
-Distinction during M.S
-PhD in Chemistry
-7.5 years of experience as of this writing-13 patents and a few publications
-Complete product lifecycle experience from concept and feasibility to transfer to customer
-Poetry and photography, as well as some social/community activities
I want to apply to UC Berkeley EWMBA, Cornell TMO/Accelerated MBA. If I get rejected, I'll give GMAT again and apply for full time for 2009. Basically, goal is graduate by 2011, period. What are my chances?
Strategy employed during GMAT (it was good...I just failed during the exam hour..)-
1. Math: Official Guide 11th edition, Kaplan GMAT 800 and PR 2007 GMAT
Solved all with 95% correct
2. Verbal: Sentence Correction using Manhattan GMAT and part of Kaplan GMAT800, solved all of OG with >90% correct.
Thank you all for your time and advice!
