Just back from the test center - exhausted and disappointed. Q is 89% and V is 70%, overall 90%. I am not too pleased with my performance considering I had put in a lot of effort - 4 months of preparation! But my score was spot on and I can't complain about that. In retrospect, I should have realized better that, I was pretty consistent in my quant score (48-49) but was all over the place on verbal (30-41). Also, a few mistakes on verbal weigh much more than the same number of mistakes on quant. Accordingly, I should have put a lot more effort on verbal than on quant. I am planning to apply to Duke executive MBA (it's very competitive). I don't know if I will have to retake GMAT. Will know more about my candidacy in a few days. Will decide based on the feedback I receive. I will write more in detail about my experience later.
