E:H = 2:1
E:M = 3:1

Using common multiples, we can say:
E:H = 6:3
E:M = 6:2

so, E:H:M = 6:3:2
and H:M = 3:2

(B) Is it correct?

H=E/2 and
M=E/3

Ration of H to M is H/M = E/2 divided by E/3
i.e E/2 * 3/E = 3/2

So H:M is 3:2 .

Easiest way to solve this is to plug in. English is twice history and English is three times math. So start by plugging a reasonable value for English.

English=6 >> History=3 >> Math=2

Ratio of History to Math is 3:2. Pick B.

2 ways to solve as well as a step-by-step video solution are available at GMATPrep Question 1313. To create drills with similar questions, set topic='FDPs & Ratios' and difficulty='400-500'
