i looked at business week rankings and applied for scores!!
based on the below link
http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/
and there are lots and lots of discrepancies man!
However, what are the so called non-ivy league decent schools to apply to with a score of 670( and work ex of 3.5+ years? 2.5+in Technology and close to 1 in business(ya no post or not paid like a manager tho-which is why more the MBA)
yep i screwed up my gmat and finished the exam half hour early!!!!)
Shud i retake the test?? any thoughts?
P.S.S..SSSSSSSSS.........
Business week gives these cut-off range of GMAT scores kind of a thing for every school in the ranked list. Are these to be followed while applying??
i mean shud one look at median scores or range in combination with mean experience or what kind of a thing?
Any thots .suggestions??
Yep new to the Forum Cool |

A 670 is still a great score! Unless you are confident that you could improve by 50+ points in a re-take, I wouldn't bother.
Just to be clear, most schools do not have any official cutoff scores for the GMAT. Schools cite these GMAT statistics to just demonstrate a typical range.
When considering your candidacy, think of the entire package: GMAT, work experience, undergraduate GPA, references, essays--they are all important considerations.
Don't pay too much attention to business school rankings--they are useful as high-level guidelines but are all inherently flawed in some way. _________________ Eric
