Hi all
I did my BA in England, and I'm now planning to apply to b-school in the US. I was hoping someone could help me convert my degree into a GPA. I have a 2:1 from the University of York.
I have seen conflicting advice all over the internet - I found one site that said it equaled 3.5 and one site that said it equaled 1.5!
Or is it likely that admissions tutors in the US will understand the English classification system and treat a 2:1 as a 2:1 (i.e. won't bother to convert it at all)
Thanks. |

I would strongly recommend reaching out to the business schools you wish to apply to and ask how they convert GPAs. It's possible that each school has a slightly different methodology of conversion...
Probably a good idea to play it safe and get this info from the official source(s). _________________ Eric
