I have done my under-grad, and grad. studies in universities where the medium of instruction was English.

Do I still need to take TOEFL? I was reading on the web-sites of b-schools you need to take TOEFL if the you attended a non-english speaking college/university.

Hey give us something to work with over here .. this is not how u ask a question.. give some background information like.. the country that your applying to, the universities your applying to etc, anyway the best answer to this can be given to u by the universities themselves, contact the universities that your considering and ask them, they should be able to help you out. having said that it is broadly agreed that if your not a native English speaker u should give the TOEFL( or any other equivalent test).

Regards

My apologies for not giving full information.

I am planing to take GMAT around Apr-May'08. I am an Indian resident and have my BE and ME in communication. The medium of instruction in all the degree courses was English. I looked at the sites of top B-schools and it is mentioned that if the medium of instruction is English you can seek a waiver for TOEFL.

I would definitely check with the individual schools just to confirm--but based on the descriptions you mentioned, it seems like you will be fine.

Good luck!

I concur.
Some schools do, some dont!

But again, I know many people with similar background and the conclusion is "you just cant get away from it." if four universities offer you the waiver for TOEFL the last one would perhaps have strict rules and will require you to have decent TOEFL score (eg Kellogg)

So you better be prepared! Wink
