Aside from the top 10 b-schools that only accept the creme de la creme, are any other schools worth going to? Say they offer a competitive scholarship for their 2 year full time program.
Thoughts and opinions?
Thanks
Aside from the top 10 schools are there any others worth it?

Absolutely--while there is certain benefits from going to a top-ranked business school, you can still receive a fantastic education from other, "lower-ranked" business schools.shadowgerm wrote:Aside from the top 10 b-schools that only accept the creme de la creme, are any other schools worth going to? It really depends on what you want to get out of the program. If you are interested in receiving a good education, you can get that from many schools in the Top 100. However, if you are primarily concerned about brand--then maybe you should attend the most highly regarded school you can get into.
If a school has offered you a competitive scholarship, I would certainly use that as a factor in your decision (which I'm sure you are). Can you afford business school without the scholarship? If not, then this could be a great opportunity for you. If you can afford b-school without the scholarship, then do some self assessment regarding what you want to get out of school: namely, brand vs quality of education.
Best of luck!

Depends on how much you make or if you REALLY want a career change. If you're making over 125G's it's not worth going anywere but top 10....or actually top 5.
If you're in a rut and can't work yourself out of it....maybe it's worth it to spur a career change.
Either way, 100G's is a lot to spend on this degree so you should do your homework before making a move.
