Recently there was a discussion about parabolas and that questions related to parabola appear in GMAT exam. Can some one please provide the level of info needed for the same? Is it just the basic equation and how the graph looks like or do we have to dig some more??  _________________ Trying hard!!! |

What I feel is, parabolas are not the part of as such syllabus. Probably, thegraph might have been used for question based on some other topic.
Please check it again. As far as I think, it might be a question of Quadratic equation. If you draw any graph for quadratic equation, it comes out to be a parabola. But, basics tested are quadratic.
