Admissions success stories

by Sadowski » Thu Sep 27, 2007 7:36 am
Hey Eric,

I've got a suggestion that may be beyond the scope of the website, or it may fall in the Business in General category:

With admissions deadlines coming up quickly, it would be cool to read about admissions success stories from people in the community. They could discuss their profile, the schools they applied to, how their interviews and campus visits went, and any tips or strategies they found useful in the process.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Sadowski

I think that this is a fantastic idea. I'm willing to run a pilot sub-forum to see whether this gets any traction.

My only concern is that most people tend to be active in this community during their GMAT preparation phase and move onto other things after taking the test--which makes sense. I'd be curious to see how many folks out there stick around and/or are current MBAs willing to share their stories...

Thanks for the suggestion!

New subforum is now live: https://www.beatthegmat.com/viewforum.php?f=30

If this gets any traction, I'll upgrade it to a main forum area. Thanks again!

Thanks for taking my suggestion! As far as I'm concerned, even though I finished the GMAT months ago, I still check the site every day because I'm always interested in reading other's profiles and success stories. I hope this will become a popular sub-forum!
