Sides = 4, 8 and 11. Lets call them x,y and zgmatz wrote:Is it possible to figure out the area of a triangle with sides of 4,8, and 11?
Perimeter = 23
1/2 (Perimeter) = s = 11.5
Area = sqrt (s(s-x)(s-y)(s-z)) = sqrt[11.5 * (11.5 - 4) * (11.5 - 8 ) * (11.5 - 11)] = 12.29
