Part-time vs. Full Time Selection

Stacy, I appreciate all of advice. It really helps when looking at schools to apply to.

I'm looking at applying to the part-time programs at Kellogg and Chicago. I've heard that admins are less selective with part-time programs. Is this true?

I do believe that part time programs tend to be less competitive. It's not that the admissions committee intends to be less picky, but that the pool is not as competitive. It just does not draw a group that is as diverse. For example, most of the applicants to Kellogg would be living and working in Chicago already, excluding a whole world of competition.
