I second that it is a general rule but then slight distinctions between em can be of great help in my quest ...
I do have the dictionaries etc but then all i want is a list where in one can appreciate the differences between these word(s)
Thanks

Have you looked at the Spidey's Sentence Correction Notes? I believe it addresses some of the topics you are looking for...

Best of luck!

comprehensive bank!!?!!
You want some notes on Conjunction? OK here i go.
honestly i have not gone throught spedy's or Sahils notes..,, so i might be repeating the same stuff here.

even though /although /though /however can be used to show the contrast between two sentences. or phrases(?) /clause/
Though is more informal and used in spoken English;
However, however is used in formal English.

note its flexible though...the following examples follow general trend.
eg.
Although/ even though/ though i have internet connection at home i go to cybercafe.
i have internet connection however/but i go to cybercafe.
wrong sentence: although i have internet connection however i go to cybercafe.
