Is there any way to get a copy of the E-rater software?

Does anyone had access to the offical E-rater software? Is it included in GMATPrep? If not, do any of the third party companies, like Princeton Review or Kapaln, provide their own version of the E-rater in their test prep software?

As far as I know, E-Rater is not included in GMATPrep or any other third party software. Last year I spent a lot of time searching for an e-rater program myself, but was unsuccessful.

My thoughts are that the makers of the GMAT do not wish to distribute e-rater publicly because they do not want people breaking down the grading algorithm.

What I would suggest is downloading the 800Score guide for AWA as well as the file with sample AWAs on this forum. After reading a few '6.0' essays, you will be able to figure out what it takes to score well on this portion of the GMAT.

Also, be sure to do a few practice AWAs yourself. Best of luck!
