    ISSUE PROMPT:
“A new custom home is a much better purchase than an older, run-down home.”
    MY RESPONSE:

Purchasing a new home is a lifetime dream to many perspective buyers. One can buy a new home in the location best suited to him and also at affordable price. A new home can be decorated and styled in the ways one wants to. One who puts stacks in new home rather than aged and run-down home may bring a great sense of satisfaction in terms of pricing, location and surroundings and availability of schools, hospitals, markets besides other social hubs. An old and run-down home may bring in some pride of having a home with uniqueness and tradition but it would not be a prudent decision to buy a home based merely on these factors only, and leaving behind more important issues such as location, strength of foundation and of overall building, earth quake resistance design, and future cost of remodeling and decoration.
In today’s high-end life style, many home owners feel the need to have designer behind their home. The need to have ultra modern and unique décor with affordable prices, can be easily fulfilled if a home is custom built, an option an old home cannot provide. Furthermore, decorating an old home may require dismantling some portion of building, resulting in higher cost. The availability of lots of interior solutions at the push of a button, and at competitive price, brings greater satisfaction in the sense of fulfilling ones needs. Furthermore, purchasing an old aged home may involves extra money just for the sake of its uniqueness and its traditional values and may not meet the other necessary requirements of buyer. On the contrary, one can easily décor his new home in retro style at affordable prices.
Moreover, as the strength of foundation and other construction parameters are equally important besides others, while purchasing a new home, one can also check whether his new home is an earth quake resistant, the type of construction materials would be used, how the foundation would be constructed and what would be the strength of building. While negotiating price, he may get all these parameter incorporated in the agreement. On the other hand, this is not possible in case of old aged structure and one has to trust what seller offers.
Although an old aged home may provide large space, good landscape, a feel of bigger and unique home, but in today’s scenario, a perspective buyer may require a stylish, new in design, and strong home with sufficient space at affordable prices. The new technology available in the market may effectively fulfill these requirements very easily.
In sum, effective pricing represents just one of many other ways when purchasing a new home instead of older home. Whether one prefers elegant, ultra modern decor, strong built with new technology home than the older home without known design parameter and away from communities. Simply put, purchasing a new home is a wise investment of a lifetime than investment in old fashioned home.
