Dear Aditya,
Thanks for your post. A cursory analysis of your profile follows here. Usually, these topics are covered through an interactive discussion; posts can distort the intentions of this feedback.

Your consultant must first get to know you on a deeper level, through an analysis of the themes in your life over time and what experiences have shaped your professional and personal choices. Your consultant will develop your brand based on a couple hour strategy discussion with you. In reviewing your profile notes, it's difficult to conclude anything other than certain assumptions and generalizations. So feel free to "filter" my comments below based on these caveats.

Strengths:
--High GMAT
--Patterns around two key attributes: innovation and adaptive communication. These skills are seen over time from your college interests and recent accomplishments, such as your patent.
--Achievement in your firm will be seen as merit-based since you're with a Fortune 500 company
--Good transferability of your leadership work during college and in your professional tenure. We can see that you'll be an active contributor in any MBA program.
--Global applications of your work and the value of your network in Latin America.

Possible Vulnerabilities:
--Average GPA overall. We see 70% or even low 80% from the Indian Nationals we partner with. Also, average college institution. U of Mumbai may not be as highly regarded as the ITT applicants in our client mix. Your academic pedigree needs to be addressed through stories around your excellence and caliber.
--Combination of engineering foundation with operations focus is an over-represented function in the MBA pool. Your language feels to tech-oriented and we need to offset that jargon to show you have a strategic mindset.
-- Awareness of your competitive cohort. We see countless awards and accolades and we need to present your profile in the most credible and differentiated manner possible.
-- Clarity of career goals needs to be evaluated, since many aspiring management consultants come from that field prior to MBA and a good number are sponsored by their firms.

It's unclear what really drives you. What's your motivation and where does it come from? Who are your role models? Your value proposition has to encompass all spheres of your life so far, with the innovation shown by your paten work as only one element of the holistic positioning.

If and when I get a better sense of the above elements, I could then comment on your competitive profile for your target schools. You belong in a top ten program because of the themes around innovation, leadership and multi-national awareness. Believe it or not, we have already started with round one clients and we prefer to have this lead time to develop complete and compelling applications.

Feel free to email me at [email protected], and we can set up a 30 minute chat to discuss your background and next steps for you.

Best,
Esther Magna
