    I hate politics and so my comprehension power for political passages is dreadful. Can aomeone suggest how to improve on this???

    The key strategy is where ever we are week, we should concentrate there. It's good that you have found your Archiles' heel.Usually, most of the test takers are not clear on their strong and week areas.
    IMO, opinion-editorials on politics from some prominent news papers might help.
