Now LIVE! The 2012 BTG Scholarships Post Tue Mar 06, 2012 3:26 am
We're really happy to announce we're now accepting applications for this year's Beat The GMAT Scholarships Competition! This is the seventh annual edition of this contest and we're proud to say that Beat The GMAT has distributed more than $193,000 in awards to date.

Click here to read all about it!

This time around, we've got something special for you: each winner will not only receive a free GMAT course, but we'll also include an admissions consulting package, plus a $250 GMAT voucher (i.e. we'll pay for your test). Read more about it on scholarship page. In total, this year we have over $11,000 in prizes.

As always, none of this would have been possible without the generous support of our partners, GMAT prep companies Kaplan, Knewton, Manhattan GMAT, Master GMAT, The Princeton Review and Veritas Prep and admissions consulting companies Admit Advantage, Clear Admit, MBA Admit, mbaMission, Precision Essay and Veritas Prep Consulting.

Don't forget to submit your application before April 23, the application deadline. Winners will be announced on April 30.

Questions? Post them here or start a new thread in the 2012 Scholarships forum.

Good luck guys, can't wait to read all about you in this year's competition!

Hi Eric,

I have already written the test and secured admissions in CMU Tepper and Kelley. Can I still apply for this scholarship, to partly fund my tuition? Smile or is this only for people in the preparation stage?!

Is there any BTG scholarship to help fund tuition?! Smile Please let me know

Regards,
Deepti.S

So this is only for applicants? And then getting the money is contingent upon them getting in? I don't understand. Can you explain the logic in that?

Hey zander21,

The prizes are all GMAT courses and MBA admissions products, so I doubt they'd be of much use to someone who has already been accepted to school. That's why we mentioned this contest is geared towards applicants. We do not distribute cash prizes.

Hope this helps! If you have more questions, please let me know.

Dana

I just submitted the scholarship application without checking the word limit of my essays. Is there any way to withdraw my application and resubmit it after verifying the essay length?

Thanks in advance,
Arun
