From reading MIT Sloan's application instructions, I can only submit two recommendations. I plan to use my ex-boss and ex-mentor from my former employer. Is it possible to submit a third peer recommendation that will provide a personal viewpoint of me?

I was hoping to have an ex-colleague who currently attends MIT Sloan write a letter for me. She and I worked on philanthropic projects via organizations such as Acumen Fund and we both helped to start up an international e-learning non-profit. What is the procedure for sending a letter from alumni or current attendees?

Wharton strongly recommends applicants submit only the suggested two recommendations. Keep in mind that, as with all aspects of the application, we consider applicants’ judgment when making our evaluation.

However, if you feel it necessary to submit a third recommendation, it can be emailed by your recommender. Please encourage your recommender to include your name and applicant ID in the subject line.
