The answer is C. What is the OA?

My explanation:

The median of 73 scores will be the 37th score. Therefore which ever distribution gives us that value would be the answer.

Hence C.

Yes, you are right. The answer is C. I came across this question in my GMAT Prep, too. Smile

Well in the answer choices option C is 80-89 not 70-79.

Hope this helps.

Class interval Frequency Cum Frequency

50 – 59 2 2
60 – 69 10 12
70 – 79 16 28
80 – 89 27 55
90 – 99 18 73

Sigma FX = 73

Median range n/2 - 73/2 = 36.5 which comes in Class interval 80-89

hece the answer is C
