Application Essay Prompts
A motivational essay must be personal and specific, and it must prove that you are well informed and that you have put a lot of thought into your choice of education. It should also explain the purpose and the motivation of you choosing this particular degree. You should think about questions such as: What is my motivation for choosing the programme? Why am I choosing to apply for a two-year graduate programme at CBS? Why do I think my bachelor degree is relevant to the programme? What can I contribute to the programme and my fellow students? Why are my extra-curricular activities/start up experience relevant to the programme? Your educational background is the most important factor, however, your life and work experience may also be considered in the selection process through the motivational essay, if relevant.
Your motivational essay must not exceed two A4 pages. Please note that the motivational essay is only used in the selection process and not in connection to the entry requirements.
