Jonathan Bethune is a content developer for Knewton specializing in ESL and GMAT verbal questions. He speaks Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Korean, in addition to English. He is also a columnist for Publisher's Weekly and a contributor to a variety of websites. Prior to joining Knewton Jon taught undergraduate humanities in Tokyo and worked as a translator.

As a writer and editor for Knewton, Jon spends his days breaking down RC, SC, and CR questions for Knewton students. He writes lessons and course content, focusing on linguistic patterns unique to the GMAT. Jon uses his background in ESL and foreign language knowledge to help non-native English speakers succeed on their GMAT exams. He hopes to publish a book about foreign language education someday, and he writes science fiction in his spare time.
