Work Experience: Admissions/Career Management/Academic Advising: UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, 20 years including roles in the Full Time MBA Program and the Undergraduate Business Program. In her 15 years in MBA Admissions Donna evaluated the applications of thousands of applicants including reviewing applications and conducting interviews, represented Kenan-Flagler at admissions events and managed regions including China, Korea and Japan. When Donna worked with undergraduate business students she directed the career development program for 700 undergraduate business students and developed strong working relationships with investment banking and consulting firms.
Donna worked at one of the worlds largest advertising agencies on the national advertising campaigns for Krafts Maxwell House Coffee and Corning Consumer Products (CorningWare, Revere, Pyrex, Visions and Corelle brands). She worked directly with her brand management clients and gained insight into product management roles.
Donnas first job after college was working at Morgan Stanley in their information technology analyst program supporting the programming needs of the trading division of the firm.
Donna has also been a culinary instructor teaching fermented foods classes at the Central Carolina Culinary Institute, a prep chef in a fine dining restaurant and helped open two start up food ventures. She has also organized farm to table community dinners including menu planning, sourcing food and execution for groups as large as 200.

3 Random Facts:
1. Donna ran in a 200-mile relay race to the NC Coast. She faced her fear of running alone in the dark and anchored a 10-mile evening leg as part of the 20 miles she covered during the 30-hour race.
2. Donna founded an afterschool math program at her kids elementary school that served over 250 children in the five years she ran the program.
3. Shes been known to clear a room when opening some of her more exotic fermentation experiments. Ask her about the failed fish sauce ferment
