Eric Bahn is the founder of Beat The GMAT, a website he began in his Stanford University dorm room in the summer of 2005. Eric’s fascination with standardized tests dates back to his high school days when he began studying for the SATs his junior year. Instead of going on dates, he instead obsessed over this test. Eric eventually developed a self-study strategy that earned him a 1540 (99th percentile), and these same self-study principles later helped earn a 720 (96th percentile) on the GMAT years later.

Eric attended Stanford for his BA and MA. He grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan but now lives in the paradise known as the San Francisco Bay Area. In his free time (haha) Eric enjoys camping, hanging out with his wife, and talking about technology with anyone who can stand listening to him.
