Larry King once said: Write. Rewrite. When not writing or rewriting, read. I know of no shortcuts.

The same can be said about the MBA application process. Crafting responses for your dream school's essay prompts is a labor of love. Before you put pen to paper, you must create a strategy for how you want to position yourself. Then, you must write, rewrite, read, and reread your story before submitting the application. A powerful piece of writing moves the reader, and you must write to move the adcom.
