CEIBS MBA Class: More Managerial
Though the average age of CEIBS’s entering full-time MBA is, at 29, not far from the average at U.S. business schools, according to Roy Chason, CEIBS’ Senior Manager for Admissions and Marketing, the Shanghai-based business school, ranked 24th in Financial Times’ Global MBA rankings, is admitting a fairly management-experienced crowd:
“On entering CEIBS, 30% of those candidates are at Manager level, 12% are at Supervisor level, 7% at General Manager / Vice General Manager level, and 5% Director level.” That’s 52% with serious management experience, impressive given that the average length of work experience of CEIBS’ entering class for 2011 was only 5.3 years.
