I'm thrilled to announce the winners of the 2012 Beat The GMAT Scholarship! This year we had six scholarship packages to distribute, and nearly 250 people applied. Our team went through a lot of effort to narrow down the field to six winners (very tough considering there were so many great applicants!). The winners are:

  • Anne Kasitaza
  • Godswill Onuge Eke
  • Sunny Webb
  • Linh Thuy Nga Nguyen
  • Sunil Varun
  • Benjamin Gordon

Each scholarship winner will receive a full GMAT course, an MBA admissions consulting package, and a $250 voucher. Note: if you are on this list, we'll be reaching out to you before the end of the day with instructions on how to receive your prize.

We have a lot of people to thank in making this scholarship possible. Without the generous donations of the following companies, we wouldn't have any prizes to distribute at all! Thus, a big thank you to:

  • Kaplan
  • Knewton
  • Manhattan GMAT
  • Master GMAT
  • The Princeton Review
  • Veritas Prep
  • Admit Advantage
  • Clear Admit
  • MBAadmit
  • mbaMission
  • Precision Essay

I also want to recognize the following folks who helped make this competition possible:

  • Beatrice Kim & Dana Jinaru - For driving the planning and execution of this year's campaign
  • Stephanie Puentes, Uyen Hoang, Ganesh Kumar - For serving as guest judges
  • Howard Soh - For making a huge personal donation to support this scholarship

To those of you whom we couldn't provide scholarships -- I hope you are still proud of your accomplishments. Selecting our scholarship recipients was incredibly difficult because of you and your awesome stories. I'm confident that you all will find a lot of success in your business school admissions and beyond.

Congrats again to our winners and best of luck to everyone,

Eric Bahn
