|
|
Hey All,
I wanted to know that if I pursue an MBA at Oxford, how can I best help myself get a job in Canada after the MBA.
Obviously most of Oxfords jobs will be in Europe. I realise that I wil have to do my own networking, but I am really looking for my chances of getting a job back home. Is an Oxford MBA looked upon as a good degree in Canada or North America?
Should I go to a Canadian school? But Oxford has a great Name, but will the name get me far?
Thanks |

I think that Oxford has a great reputation in the States, and most likely in Canada as well. If you intend to work in Canada after graduate school, I recommend finding a summer job in Canada between years 1 and 2 to put yourself in that market.
I have a few friends who went to Oxford and they've done quite well for themselves in California--I think the brand is something you can carry to a lot of places!
Good luck! _________________ Eric

thanks Eric.
The Oxford MBA is a one year program though so I can't get a summer job between years 1 and 2.
Do you have contacts to Oxford Alumni through this blog. They might be able to help me too.
Thanks |
