Topic: Manhattan GMAT Private Tutor Experience = EXCELLENT

Today I had a private tutoring session with a Manhattan GMAT tutor in Manhattan. If you decide to take the self-study route and are serious about improving your score, I would highly recommend working with one of MGMAT's private tutors during the final month of your studies.

This afternoon I worked with Dan Bernstein of MGMAT and it was worth every dollar I invested. He walked me through several tough problems I previously had difficulty with using easy to understand methods, evaluated my strengths and weaknesses, and provided me with numerous test taking tips, tricks, strategies and shortcuts. Some problems which I could not understand at all after reading through the explanations provided in OG now seem easy after reviewing the problems with Dan. Most importantly, he has given me the much needed confidence I lacked in order to beat this test and reach my target score of 700+. The number of hours required in order to sufficiently prep for this test can seem overwhelming at times, especially if you work long hours and travel often.

If you have a busy work schedule and can't commit to MGMAT's 9 week program, I recommend that you purchase the MGMAT guides (I found Word Translations; Equations, Inequalities and VICs; Geometry; Number Properties and Sentence Correction to be the most helpful) and the Official Guide version 11, complete the corresponding problems in the OG after reviewing a MGMAT guide (it is important that you review problems you get wrong and right), make flashcards for quick review and then make a list of any problems and concepts which continue to give you difficulty. Also, make sure to take a few practice tests from MBA.com and MGMAT (you get access to 6 practice CATs when you purchase any MGMAT guides). About three or four weeks before test day CALL Manhattan GMAT to schedule a private tutoring session. After my experience with Dan I can confidently say that you won't be disappointed. I initially planned on using the private tutor services for two hours, but near the end of my session I decided to sign up for a few more hours. This is one investment that you should make if you're serious raising your score.

Many thanks to Dan and MGMAT for your effective teaching methods. I only wish I had known about your company sooner.

Thanks very much for the feedback! I'll make sure to send Dan an email with a link to this so he can see your kind words. Good luck on the test!
