I attended a top 15 undergrad business school and my overall GPA was 3.23. Not terrible but not great. It sits right on the outside edge of most MBA programs in the top 25 I am looking at.

I was able to increase my GPA every semester and I ended with a major GPA in marketing of a 3.73. My focus for an MBA will be marketing and I was wondering if my much higher major GPA will do anything to compensate for my low overall GPA can fall outside the bottom level of an MBA prgrams 80% range? Is there a way I can emphasize my major GPA without looking like I am overcompensating?

Well, you can just write it in your application, and in an essay where it's relevant. But no need to "apologize" for your overall GPA, it may be a bit lower than you would like, but it is quite respectable.
