Long form & Short form in TOEFL Listening/Reading

Post Mon Sep 12, 2011 8:50 am
Hi all,

Some people tell me that in real test we will always have 1 long form reading (i.e more than 3 passages) OR 1 long form listening (i.e. more than 6 lectures/conversations).

Is it true?

Thank you very much.

Yeah, it's just that you don't know which one you'll get: the extra reading or the extra listening.

Yup, you'll get an extra experimental section for either Reading or Listening. This makes one of them longer.
And that happens to everybody?
