Hi Stacy, I have a 680 on GMAT, with 42 Verbal, 40 Quant, and 6.0 AWA. I scored a 47 on a Quant a few days ago but during the actual test today was not feeling well and so did not do as well duing this second test.
My question is, I will definitely focus on marketing myself through the essays, but should I feel that the relatively low Quant is going to put me at a disadvantage given my very strong overall liberal arts background- 3.5? Since I had been doing super well on the quant practice tests, its not that I can't do it...thanks! I am applying to top 5 schools. |

Hi AceIt,
Objectively, a 680 is not a poor score. Since the admissions process is holistic, it's difficult for me to say if the 680 is a low score for your profile, or if your quant score will be an issue. Did you take quantitative classes in college? Do you have other evidence of your quant abilities (through work, for instance)?
Good luck!
