Thanks Eric for your reply.....I am done with OG twice and now I remeber the answers for most of the questions...thats why need some more practise material...I so not prefer 1000 series, reason being the source... thats why want to choose from Princeton or Kaplan.....My test is on Mrach 13...So, what u say in this situation...

I prefer the PR book over the Kaplan book. But both are good practice.

If you do get the PR book, make sure it comes with the DVD--it should contain 4 computer practice tests.

I think that you would be better served focusing your studies around OG. It doesn't hurt to repeat the book if you get to that point.

The 1000 SC document is certainly good practice, but the problem is that we can't verify the source of those questions--they may not actually reflect the real GMAT accurately.

Since we know that OG features actual GMAT questions, it makes the most sense to study those primarily to get a sense of the types of questions, topics, and patterns.

I hope that helps!

wow I feel like a newbie now.

Thanks for the suggestion Eric Very Happy

i dont see any problem there. as long as you dont encounter a bug in princeton Laughing

i believe early few questions are vital. that decides your score, not no. correct answers.
remember its CAT Smile

Here is what Amazon says about PR:

Cracking the GMAT with DVD, 2007 Edition (Graduate Test Prep) (Paperback)

Cracking the GMAT now offers MAJOR new features on DVD, including engaging video tutorials from The Princeton Review’s top instructors. We also bring you over 200 practice questions in the book and exclusive free access to 4 practice exams and expert advice online.

SO that means you have tutorial on the DVD and access to 4 online tests, so it is still fine irght?

What about the previous version? the differnece is that the tests are on the CD rather than online? Is it not the same thing?
Rolling Eyes

thats my quotes right?
so if you ask me thats right.. instead buy a package that comes without a DVD .... I have seen the DVD myself so no doubt about that.

still i dont know what it is there in America... I am from India by the way...

why dont you check amazon.com and read the reviews....
& also please let us know

(I stand firm on my statement...chances are very less that there ll be some different DVDs for India or for USA)

In other words, buy the 2005 edicion that comes WITH the CD WITH the test rather than the 2007 edicion WITH DVD BUT WITHOUT the tests

its a biiig question but i dont wanna spend $$ to have access to online test so i ll wait for somebody to tell me whether those four online tests are same as four CD test...

Yeah
If the DVD is just a lecture I don't see the point. Well I am running out of time here so I guess I will buy the 2005 edition right away. I can get an used book for as low as 3.95 Very Happy
