Hey All,

I'm taking it in Feb. 07 and have been studying since mid Dec. I know its only 2 months but thats all I can afford Sad

My strategy:

- Princeton Review Book (Finish match, take math exam 1, finish verbal, take verbal exam 1. Then, take the last exam for both sections)

- Review Princeton material online (if you purchased the book)

- Kaplan 800 book (finish all exams possible, review weak areas)

- OG 11th Edition (")

- mba.com gmat prep software final review

Misc. items:

Review misc. notes and hints that I've printed by visiting this forum!

P.S.: I've read that the Kaplan 800 exams are much harder than the actual GMAT. Should I just skip that book and focus on the OG book and then come back to Kaplan 800?

Thanks!!

@ maxim730- GMAT is a computer adaptive test CAT , therefore you get items tough or easier, on how you perform.
...K800 doesnt hv out of scope illustrations all are well under GMAT syllabus. Neutral

go ahead with your plan and report your progress here. Smile

i ll bring my PC here as soon as i can, still it ll be 14 jan... Sad

till then i cant write a CAT, practise 1000SC, write long posts or publish a new blog. Sad

I have a month before test and I am still not satisfied with my score, kind of low, still. Any suggestion of what should I do?

Here is my daily routine:
- Work full time form 7:30-4:30
- Study at lunch time (1 hr)
- Study after work form 5-8 (M-Th)
- Study on week-ends (Sat and Sunday about 6 hours in total)
Book reviewed:
- OG (yellow book) and OG both verbal (purple) and math (green). Took 1 practice test, still 1 left
- Kaplan the whole book including the review section with CD, took 1 practice test, still 2 remaining
- Princeton Review the whole book
- Manhattan Sentence Correction the whole book, did not do any test yet

So, at this point what should I do, more practice test? More review questions? Other books? Should I increase the number of hours of study?
Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
By teh way, 2 days ago I score donly 500 Embarassed and also Crying or Very sad

I am taking the exam on Feb. 10th also.

My Review Strategy:

- Princeton Review Cracking the GMAT (almost done, on the Essay part)
- Take all 4 exams in PR book for Math and Verbal each (Math done)

- Review supplementary notes, printouts, GMAT Flashcard (found these visiting the forum)
- Take princeton's online exam (only if you bought the book)
- Finally, do OG11 problems
- Take the GMATPrep exams

Schedule:

Work 9-6
Study from 7-9,10

Repeat TIll feb. 10

Hi....
I am focussing on OG and Official Verbal and Quant books....
My plans r to go through these books atleast two times....

Do i need some other books? The basics I have done from Barron, and Mnahattam SC guide....

For practice tests I am planning official tests GMATprep alongwith Kaplan and Manhattam.

Please advice.....
Thanks

You've got a great set of books. It really pleases me to hear that you are going to study the OG books exhaustively because those are your most important references.

One book that I like is the Princeton Review Cracking the GMAT book. There are some good practice tests there, and the lessons are pretty easy to read through.

Best of luck!
