Hi all,

32 days lef to d-day. I have given only 2 CAT till date

- Princeton - 580 - (30v, 34q)
- Princeton - 680 - (37v, 47q)

Confused about how many and which all tests to give in the coming days

- I am sure about the following
- Tests from MBA website - 2 tests (thrice)...so thats 6 tests (in the last 10 days)
- Kaplan Tests......2 tests

I am not sure about the like of Manhattan, Barrons, 800, Cambridge etc

Please suggest a plan - of many tests are sufficient and preference, coz of limited time

Thanks a ton in advance,
SM - Keep moving

With 4 weeks left, I wouldn't suggest doing more than 4 cats - that would leave you with 1 cat per week. The cats require a thorough review in order to gain the maximum amount of learning from them after which you need to "apply" what you've learned in practice sets. Doing more than 1 per week leaves you with little time to absorb, internalize, and apply the lessons learned. Slow and steady wins the GMAT race.

I agree. Taking a bunch of practice tests in your last 10 days is a bad idea. Not only will you burn yourself out, quality matters more than quantity. In between tests, you should be focusing on understanding your mistakes on working on weaknesses with practice questions.

The PR and GMATPrep tests are the best ones; I've seen a lot of negative comments about 800score tests. Kaplan's seem to be much harder and not much like the real thing, MGMAT is harder too but more accurate than Kaplan.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the inputs, these make lot of sense

Just one more question - how many days before the D-Day should i give the GMATprep tests (1, 2 and retakes) , so that i have a very good understading of where i stand.

My target is to get 700+ and if i think i am not ready i will postpone the date by a 20 days or so

Thanks,
SM
