Kevin Armstrong- Kaplan, Madrid

by kevincanspain » Fri Mar 23, 2007 3:37 am
Hello, my name is Kevin Armstrong, and I am the GMAT/GRE instructor at Kaplan, Madrid. I also write GMAT quant questions for 800score.com and do some online classes with Manhattan Review. I will be posting some nice quant. questions that I write and I will answer a few questions every day. Although my speciality is quant, I scored a 48 in verbal last October, so I will help with verbal questions as well!

Hi Kevin,

Just a quick question , especially since you are from Kaplan ..
I recently took the GMAT CAT 1 from the Kaplan CD and barely managed a score of 580. I have not seen anything as difficult as this test before.
What is a decent score in Kaplan CATs - and what does 580 translate to in an actual GMAT presuming the actual GMAT is not as difficult as the Kaplan.

add a correction factor +80  Kaplan test scores most of the times skewed lower that real GMAT thingie...

This is a lounge section by the way.
