Issue with Transcripts

All -

A quick question about transcripts on the MBA application. Being on top of things, I requested my transcript last week from undergraduate university for R2 applications (the majority of which are due on Tuesday the 6th). It is not likely that I will be able to include my transcript with my official application as of the due date, but I will be able to send it to the school by the end of the week. Does this void my application, or hurt my chances? I went to school in the US so I don't have the international university as an excuse. Just curious if this means I will have to apply next year.

Hi Pgreen,

Most of the universities give you the flexibility that you can send in your hard copy documents within a week after submitting your online application so that is fine. Also most of the MBA schools require you to scan and upload your transcripts for application purposes and very few actually ask for hard copy documents.

Yep. Also many schools will allow you to submit an unofficial transcript and require the official one only when you get accepted.

Best thing to do: Check directly with the school, as each one has its own requirements.
