Hi all!

My name is Stuart and I work for Kaplan in Toronto.

I'm a recovering lawyer (practiced commercial litigation at a big firm here in town for about 4 years) before I decided to go back to teaching full time. I teach primarily the GMAT and the LSAT although I've been known to dabble in the SAT, GRE and verbal sections of the MCAT. I also help people with their applications to Canadian Business and Law Schools. For the past year I've been one of the academic coordinators for Kaplan Centres in Ontario, Manitoba and the Atlantic provinces.

A Kaplan student pointed out this website to me and it looks like a great place for GMATers to get together and chat about the test.

Hello all,

My name is Amit.
Currently i am put up in Bangalore, India.Work for General Electric.

This is my 9th year of work all together.
Of late i decided to do my MBA and so is the GMAT in pic.

Better late than never ....

What say all ?

Ok, coming to my small initial query..(forgive me if this is not the thread to ask this Q).

All rhese OG GMAT course books are available in Amazon.com site for buying. Now is it possible for me to buy from there and ask them to ship to India ? Is that possible...if yes how economic this would be, while comparing to Indian price list (e.g. The 11th edition Official GMAT guide is available here @ 1800 Indian rupees appox. which is equivalet to USD 45.

Better late than never Wink

Welcome to the forums, Amit. Smile

I bought it from Mumbai without ordering it from Amazon, as it takes some time to ship plus there are some shipping charges as well.

Still 1800 Rs is too much for OG... if it's available @ Banglore.
I'd order it from amazon.com

Hi all.
My name is Ursula. I'm from Lima, Peru. I'm a graphic designer willing an MBA + mkt & international business. I'm going for my second attempt for the GMAT (hope this time I will get the wished score and better my low Quant). Anyway, the experience is a big value, and as one gets to learn from it, anything can be improved.
I have already made a few posts (most of them already answered too). Many tks for your kind advice.
Some hobbies: tv, movies, hang out with friends, dance, yoga, theater
Hope to spend a great time here (learning and giving some tips from what I already know) while I get to my G-Day Very Happy

Hi Ursala,

I'm always excited to see more Latin Americans going for MBAs. I'm currently studying at EGADE in Monterrey, Mexico right now. There are people from all over Latin America studying here as well, as this is considered Latin America's best business school.

What schools are you considering? I'd love to hear more about your background and goals... maybe I can help a little.

Best wishes,

Tatiana
