Interpreting Princeton Review score Post Wed Dec 01, 2010 3:29 pm
Hi there,
I'm confused - or maybe just depressed - about the score the PR cracking the GMAT test just gave me. It's way, way below what I got just over 10 years ago. I guess I'm hoping there's some explanation other than that I got dumber Smile

Here's my old scores
Verbal 48
Math 39
Total 710

Here's what PR gave me (admittedly I messed up the Verbal which is usually my strong point).
Verbal 34
Math 37
Total 590!

It definitely can be depressing revisiting a test you aced so long ago but that is just natural. You have been away so long and you actually lost some of those testing skills. It is time to rebuild them. I see this happen quite often. And with you telling me youmessed up the verbal then it even makes more sense. You are not less intelligent but you are not focused on these GMAT testing skills so retrain yourself.

Good Luck and if you need some assitance besides our book, you may consider a tutor in a specific area if you find you cannot retrain yourself to get back to the old score.
