    "After the customary post-budget press conference, he went studio-hopping to put across his own case, stressingheroically that...."

    Please explain the use ING modifier (stressing) in the above sentence...

    i just wanted to know how does a comma followed by an ING modifier work (modify Razz)

    Ing-modifier with a comma is an adverb modifier.
