Yea, not that good. I thought I was in trouble with my b-school apps. I applied to the Paul Merage School of Business, (Ranked 36th in the Nation), and I GOT IN! Work Experience means a lot, and I have been working for a major defense company in software for 3 years now. Do not be dissapointed if your score is not that high, your work experience, letters of rec and essays help a lot.

Best of luck to you all.

COngrats for your admission, dude!

Yeah i heard the same from many of my MBA students friends that your application essay matters A LOT. The way you present yourself / market yourself is much important.

Most of the people think that with the decent GMAT score battle is almost finished. NO.
thats not the case.
other factors also play major role in your application.

Hi singhri:

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us! There are a lot of people in this community obsessed with getting a 700+ score (I was one of them when I was preparing for the GMAT)--but you are proof that you can still get into a top MBA program without a 700+ on the GMAT.

Best of luck to you!
