How to disable/stop "Recent Activities" ? Post Sat Jun 04, 2011 8:11 am
Can I just disable or stop these recent activities? The moving badges distracts me a lot when I m studying on BTG. Please help.. Or can you guys move this "Recent Activities section a bit below on the BTG?

I don't know what other students think of this moving activities..

Thanks for your feedback, @IWillGetMyLifeBack and @Halemani. We've heard similar feedback from a couple other members. And so we're considering moving the activity widget down.

Hi David,

Can we have a Minimize feature on the "Recent Activities" - badges widget that a user can save in his profile settings....To be honest,it really irritates when reading a long post Sad

If implementing this will take time, may be as a first step -

You can have the feature added to all the pages and let it be expanded by default
Then in a later release you can add this feature in the profile settings

Hope this makes sense?

Note - I had posted this under the wrong topic - http://www.beatthegmat.com/irritating-badger-animation-t84788.html
that I deleted....

Thanks,
krishp84

I agree with 'krishp'. It shouldnt be that hard for the developer to put a minimize button on the annoying portion of the window (portlet).

OK. We'll change it. Smile You guys have convinced me that we should make it possible to minimize the widget. We'll put something up by next week.
