Topic: How many schools can we apply for?
PostMon Nov 02, 2009 12:28 pm

Hi,

I understand that when taking the GMAT, we could request the results to be sent to 5 schools; however, is it possible to apply to more than 5 schools and request for the results to be sent to the others as well?

Thanks!

Absolutely. You can apply to as many schools as you like. You would have to pay $25 (per additional school) to Pearson Vue to report your scores to the schools.

It now costs $28 per school to send an extra GMAT report. But some schools can evaluate your application without the official copy (and fee) if you send them a scanned copy of your official report. If you do well and they offer admission, they'll want the official copy of your scores and transcripts. It's worth a call to admission's office to see if you can save the $28 if you're applying to a lot of schools!
