Topic: How accurate is the GMAT prep score?

I just did a GMAT prep practice exam. I thought I did pretty bad because I got 14 math wrong and 10 verbal wrong, but the score came out as 700????? is that right? I'm especially surprised because for the math part I got 5 consecutive questions wrong.

the only thing I can think of that might have helped is I had over 12minutes left when I finished the verbal section. Can that be a consideration to higher mark?

you don't get extra points for finishing early. finishing with 12 mins extra is poor time management skills. you're better off taking your time and not rushing - you'll see an improvement in your score if you do this.

the gmatprep software is the most accurate representation of your actual score. most users report a +/- 30 point range. however, many factors can affect your score on the actual test, including lack of sleep, distractions, poor time management, etc.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right, but it will not come near you.
