Hi!
I am starting to study for the GMAT so that I can career change reenter the business field. I have a BSBA in Finance and Management but have been teaching math and science for the past 6 years.
I have to say, I am excited and apprehensive at the same time! I have so many unknowns... such as, once I get my MBA will a company hire someone who is in their mid 40's ?
Anyone else facing a similar situation?
HI

Welcome to the community!
I think we all take the MBA admissions process with apprehension--it's only normal. In your particular case, it sounds like you will be applying as a slightly older candidate--but if you have a compelling reason to go, then go for it. With regard to companies hiring you afterward, I think companies are always looking for smart people to make things happen. Don't let 'age' hold you back.
