Hello Guys,
As I am writing this post, the Admission process for the next HBS 2+2 batch has started. The last date to send your Application Packet is July 1st-2009.
For more details regarding the Application Process and the required Documents I would advice you to check the link belwo.
http://www.hbs.edu/mba/2+2/HowToApply.html
For those who are from India, I would like to know whether or not if you people are taking any professional help from any Admission Consultants?
For those who have already been selected into this program, I would request you people to guide us during the Application process.
And most Importantly I would thank BEAT THE GMAT forum for giving us such a great platform to interact with. |

| I am applying for this year, so I will be checking this forum often. One suggestion, I think you should rename the thread to something like HBS 2+2 2009 or smth...so that people know it's the new thread. |

i also think you should change the title to HBS 2+2 2009 or something....
what do you think a competitive GRE score would be for an international applicant....and can having a very high toefl score counterbalance an average GRE verbal? _________________ An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep. |

Well GRE is a kind of aptitude test whereas TOEFL is a test of english language, so in case you have very good english, still not the aptitude, then I believe it might be difficult.
However for International applicants,if their undergraduate institution courses were taught in English,so toefl can be waived from their application.
Check out the entire details
@ Comiskie
I dont know how to rename this forum, but if you can, please go ahead and change the name as per your comfort. |

| I am applying this year too. I have taken the GMAT and scored 640 (Q43 V34) but I am thinking to retake it since I would like to raise my score. But I read in the other 2+2 thread that somebody was accepted with 640. So i don´t know what to do... |

Well there is so much in the Aplication process other than GMAT score that predicting the result just on the basis of GMAT score is of no use.
Although it might be possible to get into HBS with 640, but since you have time,so I think you can give it another shot.
Best of Luck.
May I know a little about your background |

I am going to retake the GMAT 25th June. But since the application deadline is 1st July i don´t know if they will accept the score given that the official scores are available 20 days after th exam date. And therefore after the deadline.
By the way, I read that they look for diversity in the applicants, but I don´t know if it is true and what is diversity for them. Does anybody know anything about this?
Thanks! |

I've already moved it. It's now in the Researching MBA Programs forum - this information is great for new applicants looking into this program so I put it here. _________________ http://www.beatthegmat.com/my-blog-errors-and-lessons-learned-t4899.html

@ 2+2
They'll accept scores for any test taken before 1st july. The official scores can be sent later.
BTW 640 ain't that bad. Last year even people with 600 made it to the interviews. But again as gmat740 said it depends on other aspects of your application too.
Anybody taking gre?I heard it is easier! lol

Yes, i understand the kind of diversity they look for.
I'll need to know your background for that.
