I'm taking the GMAXONLINE course and just thot i'd share with you some of my personal observations about the course. I havent finished with the course yet, so when I do i'll come back and edit this post to fill in more details. In the meanwhile, for those of you interested, I keep a blog of my daily learnings thanks to GMAX here
If you have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them. |

What's up in your blog. The instructors, Karen, Abi and Aner are blowing their own trumpet by spaming and pretending to be gmax students. Not a good way to promote your product. I hope your not one of the instructors. I have viewed the gmax sample videos and it seems like a good product buyt by spaming this way lowers the overall credibility.

LOL! i dont think you've read the blog very carefully. I'm NOT in anyway related to the product referred. I took the course so i thought i'd share my experience over the same. As you can see, i'm a Moderator here. I doubt Eric would make me one just so i can spam/sell the product.
Oh, just in case you missed it--I'm also a Super-Mod on Pagalguy.com which incidentally, is India's largest MBA forum. I have the same id there. _________________ Quant Tutor

Hi Neo,
How do you rate this course?
Does the online course means live video sessions or is it just
Download and study kind of approach.
Do they have good RC session?
Thanks, |

I know neo2000 personally, & can assure you that he's not associated with GMAX!
being moderator of TWO GIANT ( & perhaps most influential!! ) online GMAT related forums I know the kind of responsibility & credibility he carries
I'll write my reviews about GMAX online, later. Lets stick to the topic!
PS: Ryan, why dont you share your experience & give us your opinion about GMAXONLINE? _________________ JohnyCAGE's

neo2000,
So do you highly recommend the gmax course. I just want to be certain before I drop $500 for the review package. It seems like a good course but I just want to be sure.
thanks

So what is the actual feedback with GMAXONLINE? Has anyone taken the course and are you satisfied?
I am looking at MGMAT live or GMAX...
Is the GMAX just a pre-recorded session? or is it in real time |

GMAX is a pre-recorded session. I had taken the entire course which means i got both Quant and Verbal. You get 90views for the course. Since there are about 30 odd videos, this means that you get about 3views per video. Of course, once you view a video you can view it repeatedly till you turn off the computer. There are some videos you might watch only once and others more than once (Geometry for me ) so its up to you how you want to use up your views.
I liked the course because i could take it at my convenience, pause/replay/fast-forward anytime during the video. The course was very well structured. As a quant teacher, i really liked their Math course. Very impressive.
I owe my CR success completely to GMAX btw. I sucked at it before i saw the videos and the explanations really helped.
Final decision, as always, is yours and yours alone. As they say YMMV _________________ Quant Tutor

Use your email as your username. Your password is the same as you use to log on to the website.
I had the same trouble initially. |
