I got a split between A and E which wont go away no matter how much i plugged in. Could someone please explain to me why the OA is E.

3x/2 is even if you substitute x=4

Heres a simpler way :

For E :

X is even - so X^2 is even and ((even)^2) / 2 is always even.
Now, 3*even = even and even + 1 is always odd

So no need to substitute.

It would be of great help if someone plugin or show how each option is elliminated before choosing E
